This week, our very own Lincoln Ware got a chance to speak with legendary actress Loretta Devine on The Lincoln Ware Show. The star of both film, TV and the stage was recently cast in a breakthrough work of art entitled “The Silence is Broken,” designed and intended to shed light on the nation’s current health status as it relates to the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
Lorreta Devine was joined on the call with special guest and the film’s producer (as well as fellow School for Creative & Performing Arts alum) Patrick Gandy, who also described the additional cast members involved in the production. Fusing the creative and performing arts with widespread topics and intense commentary on HIV, the new film and it’s future sequels and installments are sure to enlighten, educate, inspire and empower the millions who are invited to partake in the experience.
