Royce Reeds Wants Dwight Howard’s Visits with Son Supervised

Things are starting to getting uglier by the minute between Dwight Howard and his baby mama “Basketball Wives’” Royce Reed. Royce recently called the cops on Dwight after he picked up their son up from daycare outside of their agreed schedule and now want the courts to make his visits with the child supervised.

According to tmz.com:

NBA superstar Dwight Howard’s baby mama wants someone to watch over him whenever Dwight is with their 2-year old son, according to new court documents.

TMZ obtained a copy of Royce Reed’s motion — filed in Orange County, Florida yesterday — in which she claims the Orlando Magic star regularly misses scheduled visitations with their son Reed. Royce also alleges that their son “acts out emotionally and physically and resists being taken by” Dwight’s nanny … according to the docs.

As TMZ first reported, cops were called in two weeks ago when Royce claimed that Dwight picked up little Reed from preschool when he wasn’t supposed to do so.

Royce is asking the court to appoint a guardian — on Dwight’s dime — to ensure Dwight follows the visitation schedule and Reed gets proper care. Royce’s rep says the motion was filed, “as a last resort.”

Dwight’s reps have not returned their calls.

What if T.I. Ends Up in Jail Again?

I will admit that when the first incident with the guns happened, I was on the free T.I. kick. I sympathized with him after he explained that he was in a constant state of paranoia after his friend was murdered in front of him. I understood how witnessing something like that could mess with a person’s psyche.

Now, I am losing patience with T.I. and am all out of excuses for his behavior. There is chance that T.I. may have to do more time after this recent incident with the drugs in the car. I am at the point now where aside from missing his music, I could care less if he has to serve any time again. Here is why:

His reformed bad boy act is just that… An act

Since T.I.’s release he has been on a campaign to let everyone know that he is reformed. He has learned his lesson. He has found a new path in life and that his family and career is his focus. Clearly those were half truths as he still feels the need to engage in some of the same hood behavior that could land him in jail once again.

T.I. & Tameka Cottle Arrested

He invited trouble into his life.

I am not going to judge him or his wife for doing drugs. However, if you have to do drugs then do them in your home. Free from anyone spotting you, judging you, or arresting you. He is past the point in his life where he should be riding around smoking weed and popping X in his MAYBACH. Those two things shouldn’t even be in the same sentence.

Superiority Complex

He like many other celebrities think that they are above all other human being and thus above the law. They feel that because they sing, dance, rap, play a sport etc that they should not have to abide by the rules of society. They assume that they should be privileged in that way.

He won’t stay out of trouble for his kids

If he is unwilling to stay out of trouble for himself or his career then the least he could do is consider his family. Consider his kids who were without their father for almost a year. Why put them through that ugly scene again? It is painfully obvious in T.I.’s case that no amount of money, success, and accolades are going to make him mature any time soon. Perhaps the initial jail sentence was a joke to him. An experience that he did not take as seriously as he claimed.

Mother Faces Child Endangerment Charges

Gabrielle Belser, a 20-year-old young mother, heads to court today and faces child endangerment charges after allegedly leaving her son in a parking lot this weekend. According to authorities, Belser and another man were seen arguing outside of the Lynnfield Apartments in Sycamore Township.

Witnesses claim Belser removed her 18-month-old baby boy out of another car as the unidentified man drove away from the scene. Belser later drove off too, but ultimately leaving the child behind. The startled witnesses apparently stayed with the boy until deputies arrived. The 18-month-old boy is now safe and with the Hamilton County Children’s Services according to deputies.

Hotel Sued for Peephole Incident

ESPN sports reporter Erin Andrews has herself in the middle of a very sketchy lawsuit that she filed this morning. Andrews has filed the lawsuit alleging that the hotels where a peephole stalker secretly videotaped her are deemed negligent.

Andrews’ lawsuit throws Michael David Barrett under the bus also. Barrett, who has already pleaded guilty to stalking the noted ESPN reporter, is now accused of invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

The reason why the suit has now hit the hotel industry is because Barrett allegedly received specific information from hotels when he initially called them to see if Andrews had made reservations to stay there. (They can do that right? I’ve heard that somewhere before I believe, but why wasn’t Erin Andrews using an alias?)

So which hotels were involved? The big ones! Marriott International, Inc. and the Radisson Hotels International, Inc. Wow! That’s two big mountains to climb, but I hope they keep it fair and stick to the facts because somebody is indeed responsible for this one.

Tough Tenants’ Triumph

If you’ve been following the news lately, you know there’s a tough group of tenants in Avondale who endured nearly a week of power outages before winning yet another fight. Members and supporters of the forty-six families affected by the power outages gathered once again, but this time in court as they tried to get back to life as normal under new management.

As we reported earlier this week, Duke Energy reportedly restored gas and electric to the 150-plus group of tenants’ homes in Avondale on Tuesday morning.

Today, Common Pleas Judge John West has officially agreed to an emergency order to appoint a receiver who will immediately take over building management from an owner who hasn’t paid utility or water bills since last year for the three Avondale apartment buildings on Harvey Avenue.
