Over a week after a devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti, another 6.1 magnitude struck Wednesday around 6 a.m. The aftershock was about 6.2 miles deep, with an epicenter located about 35 miles from the capital Port-au-Prince.

Wednesday’s aftershock was the strongest to hit the country since January 12’s original temblor, which killed over 200,000 people and left thousands more injured. Injuries from the aftershock have been reported.
