One might be led to believe that Martha Stewart would be the perfect mom with all kinds of goodies, gifts and glamorous activities around the house.

That might not be true for her daughter Alexis Stewart who is currently on the promo trail with her controversial new book, “Whateverland: Learning to Live Here” – a tell-all memoir due to bookstores on October 18th.
In the new book, Alexis openly reveals the frustration of growing up with her mega-star mother something she’s already notorious for doing in her “Whatever, Martha” TV series on the former Fine Living Network as she spoofed her own mother’s past projects. This time around you’ll hear from Alexis about everything from perfectionism, the lack of privacy she endured over the years and how she feels she never measured up to the fame.
