We’ve had such a busy yet exciting past few days working closely with REACH Media and The Tom Joyner Morning Show to successfully launch Cincinnati’s official tour stop on the 2010 Tom Joyner Back to School Campaign. We’ve seen so much talent come by to say hello and share with us why they decided to come out to celebrate our back to school initiatives. This is just another way that our “Fly Jock,” Mr. Tom Joyner is helping America keep it cool when it comes to education.

Special thanks and shout outs to all of the event sponsors and representatives who took time out of their own busy schedules to share valuable information with future and returning students as well as parents with school aged children and relatives. Another special thanks goes to the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) as well as the local universities who’ve come to register students for classes, deliver financial aid resources and also setup one-on-one and group college tours. There are plenty of topics to be covered in the round of workshops featuring transportation, school safety, food services and educational intervention practices. Come on down and find out what else is going on today.

Just look at all the resources you’re missing out on if you haven’t stopped by yet. Don’t forget, we’re all here until 2:00PM at the Woodward Career Technical High School in support of the 2010 Tom Joyner Back to School Campaign. Are you keeping education cool in your family, in your church, in your neighborhood? If not, here’s the place to start. Check out the continued coverage below and let us know what you’ve experienced today.
