As families all over the world draw nearer to that exciting time of year, Radio One Cincinnati’s family of urban radio stations 101.1 The Wiz, MOJO 100.3 and 1230AM WDBZ The Buzz have all come together to host the 2010 Tom Joyner Back to School Campaign going on right now as we speak at Woodward Career Technical School until 2:00PM this afternoon.
If you decided to sleep in this morning, it’s okay. You still have plenty of time to come down to Woodward to check things out, win great back to school related prizes as well as get a jump start on educational resources concerning furthering your education. That old saying is true: “A mind is a terrible thing to waste.” Today, we’re putting an emphasis on supporting our community by pushing educational values to the forefront.
We’ll be here until later this afternoon for the entertainment portion of the day as we fill back packs with tons of school supplies, participating in cool Back to School Expo Zones plus giving you an opportunity to win books and prize packages including a free laptop.
