There are questions about whether a Northern Kentucky murder suspect is responsible for the crime.

DNA at the scene, where 42 year-old Michelle Mockbee died last year, was not from defendant David Dulle according to court documents.

Mockbee was found at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where Dulle also worked.

Former NKU Athletic Director Accused of Stealing $150k from School

Northern Kentucky University’s former athletic director is being accused of stealing money from the school.

NKU officials say Scott Eaton admitted to taking as much as $150,000 from the athletic department for his personal use.

Eaton was fired last month when the allegations surfaced.

The legal career of Stan Chesley appears to be over.

The Kentucky Supreme Court voted yesterday to disbar Chesley for allowing lawyers negotiating the $200 million Phen-Phen settlement. The lawyers ended up collecting more than half of the award in fees for themselves.

Chesley is also facing disbarment in Ohio.

A Covington babysitter will spend more than 19 years in prison, for pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter and other crimes.

Marquita Burch hid the body of William Cunningham at a relative’s home, after the one year-old fell and died of a head injury.

Prosecutors say Burch did not seek medical treatment for the boy, but put the body in a garbage bag hid him at a relative’s home, and reported him missing.

Hepatitis C Outbreak In Northern Kentucky

Northern Kentucky health officials are offering Hepititus-C tests after finding an outbreak of the disease.

The independant health department district says cases of the blood-borne illness have doubled in the past two years. One reason for the outbreak is the rising abuse of heroin.

Those who test positive will receive counseling, education, and care from the health department.

More Jobs Coming to CVG Airport

At least 120 new jobs are coming to the CVG Airport.

Cargo carrier, Southern Air, is moving its headquarters from Connecticut to Kentucky, as part of a financial and strategic streamlining.

Southern Air carries cargo for the federal government relief agencies and shipping companies.

Boone County prosecutors say three men, accused of murdering a suspected drug dealer, carefully plotted their crime.

Anthony Baumgartner, Stephen Harkness, and Jeffrey Allen were in court, yesterday, to face a host of charges, while details of Daniel Delfin’s murder were released.

The trio allegedly kidnapped Delfin, then beat and stabbed him to death last week.

N. Kentucky Trio Arrested in Murder-Dismemberment Case

Three Northern Kentucky Men are under arrest, accused of killing a person they called a “heroin dealer”.

Anthony Baumgartner, Stephen Harkness, and Jeffrey Allen allegedly planned to assault the unidentified victim. They allegedly told police they took matters too far, and were doing it to “rid the community of evil”.

The men are accused of lowering the victim, killing him and dumping his remains.

Walton Ky. Mayor Arrested Four Days After Being Elected

The newly elected mayor of Walton, Kentucky is already in trouble.

Phil Trzop has been arrested and suspended as Boone County Water District general manager.

Trzop is accused of mismanaging and embezzling money from the water district just four days into his term as mayor.

The water district held an emergency meeting, Saturday, to address the suspension. The city’s attorney says Turzop will be removed as mayor if he is convicted.
