California Preschool Closing After Alleged Sexual Activity Between 4- And 5-Year-Olds [VIDEO]

(via newsone.com) – First Lutheran Church of Carson School in Carson, California, is closing after parents discovered alleged sexual activity between the 4- and 5-year-olds students, reports ABC News.

According to an attorney for the alleged victims, Greg Owen, students engaged in oral sex in a tunnel slide on the playground and in an outside bathroom.

“It all boils down to a lack of supervision,” Owen said. “There were times when teachers would let aides in the room for hours at a time to watch the kids. During naptime, the aides would be sleeping and the children would have been molesting each other during this time.”

Another boy told his parents that he received oral sex from the same girl.
Church leaders claim that the school’s closing has nothing to do with the student sex allegations, but the resignation of the principle and no teachers interested in filling the position.

According to ABC, “the California Department of Social Services cited the school for at least one of the sexual encounters and an improper student-teacher ratio.”

Kroger, Walmart Potential Buyers of Hostess Brands

Hostess Brands is in the middle of a sale, and it looks like one of them is a local company.

There are reports that Kroger, in addition to Walmart, are among the bidders for assets being sold by Hostess.

That means that Twinkies, Ding Dong cupcakes, and Ho-Hos may not be going away soon.

A confidentiality agreement is keeping Kroger’s plans under wraps until after a federal judge rules on the bids.

Oh Great, What Did Katt Williams do Now??

Katt Williams is once again making headlines.

The comedian is being sued by an audience member from his performance in Seattle. Carlos Casto-Lino is claiming to have a concussion, and multiple contusions on his head, after Williams hit him with his microphone.

This was the same time when Williams was interviewed by a TV station, and said on the air he was retiring from his profession. He has however retracted those statements.

3 Months After Death Sherman Hemsley STILL Not Buried

On July 24th Sherman Hemsley passed away from what the coroner describes as lung cancer. But as of today, the late Jeffersons star is still not buried and his body remains refrigerated at the Eastside location of the San Jose Funeral Home in El Paso, Texas.

His will continues to be contested with everything from the naming of beneficiaries to the cause of death up for dispute.

TheGrio.com previously reported on the estate battled between Flora Enchinton, 56, who was described as a “beloved partner” of Hemsley’s and a man that claims to be the deceased actor’s estranged brother.

Richard Thornton of Philadelphia, claims to be Hemsley’s half-brother. He argues that the will may not have been written by the late actor and suggests that it may be a forgery.

Hemsley’s $50,000 estate lists Enchinton, his manager for over 20 years and live-in friend, as his sole beneficiary.

Two Northern Ky. Preschoolers Killed in School Bus Crash

Four Northern Kentucky children are hospitalized in Louisville from a bus crash that killed two of their head-start classmates yesterday.

The Carroll County school bus, with nine children on board, went off the roadway and rolled into a tree.

The surviving victims were airlifted from the scene.
