Her unique accomplishments have earned numerous music awards: GMA Dove Music Award, several Grammy awards, NAACP Image award and in 2003 she was inducted into the Stellar Awards Hall of Fame. She is one of the true superstars of contemporary Gospel Music. Yolanda Adams, a life long resident of Houston Texas, is the eldest of six siblings.
