1230AM WDBZ The Buzz announces the official homegoing celebration and funeral services for Cincinnati’s own ministry and radio broadcast icon Dr. Abraham Isaac Jacob Swanson, XII – pastor and founder of the Bibleway Church of God in Christ (COGIC) in Evanston, OH for more than 65 years. Funeral services are as follows:
THURSDAY, JULY 22, 2010
THE CELEBRATION MUSICAL (7:00PM)– An opportunity for musicians, media personnel, choirs, choruses, groups, soloists and more to give their condolences to the family in a worship format. (Open to the public.)
FRIDAY, JULY 23, 2010
PUBLIC VIEWING begins at 3:00PM until 7:00PM
FUNERAL SERVICES begin at 7:00PM

Interment will be held at the Walnut Hills Cemetery. Funeral arrangements facilitated by Thompson, Hall & Jordan.
There will also be two (2) special rehearsals for all former members of the Bibleway church choir and/or anyone who’d like to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Swanson with their voices and musical gifts. The dates for the reunion/tribute choir rehearsals are as follows:
Wednesday, July 14, 2010 – 7:30PM and Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 7:30PM. All rehearsals will be held at Bibleway Church of God in Christ located at 3231 Woodburn Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45207.
