We’ve caught wind of a huge mistake happening in Kenwood which actually caused a few businesses to lose out on some potential profits today. Employees at a pair of local restaurants – Johnny Rocket’s and Ruby Tuesday, to be exact – were forced out of their places of business just after 9:00AM this morning.

Officials claim a nearby work crew hit a gas line causing a leak. Thankfully, employees were permitted to return to work after the gas was shut off and the necessary repairs were made. There’s no word on whether or not customers have re-entered the buildings at this time.

Cincinnati, were you up on this one? Tell us if you were there today before or after the gas leak occurred by posting your thoughts in the comments section below. What do you think these kind of accidents do to a restaurant’s business and profitability during peak operation hours?
