This Wednesday morning Cincinnati police teams are hard at work investigating a strange situation that has everyone around the office curious. An unfortunate crash caused by an SUV on the run has left both the cab driver and its passenger dead as a result of the high speed collision.

Downtown streets have been blocked for the last six hours after the crash that caused both vehicles to burst into flames. Why was the driver on the run? Apparently, there was some sort of suspicious activity that caused police to trail the SUV around 1:00AM near the Mount Auburn/East Clifton area. Upon research and a quick traffic stop, the vehicle was discovered as stolen. From there, the driver took off headed for downtown.

As far as the victims are concerned, the cab driver who was struck initially by the SUV died inside the vehicle while the female passenger died after being thrown from the taxi. Neither of the two suspects’ indentities who were driving the SUV have been released, but additional updates on the investigation will continue throughout the day.
