Our midwest friends and family are jumping straight into Black Music Month (June) with some awesome news this morning. The famed annual Chicago GospelFest returns to the city of Chicago in just over a week (June 5-6, 2010) at Millennium Park.
The two-day event is slated to feature over 50 of the industry’s top artists including Fred Hammond, Richard Smallwood & Vision,Ricky Dillard & New G, Hezekiah Walker & LFC, Byron Cage, The Caravans featuring Albertina Walker, Dorothy Norwood, Inez Andrews, & Delores Washington, Kathy Taylor, Bishop Darrell McFadden & The Disciples, and James “J.J.” Hairston with Youthful Praise.
