One of the biggest sports events of the year is just around the corner and one of the biggest names in music history is about to shut down the concert stage in a rare live performance. Scheduled for launch during this year’s Super Bowl Weekend, noted musician Prince is ready to take center stage at “theEvent” – a show that’s sure to blow the minds of fans all across the world. Held inside the tent complex at a site formerly known as the Reunion Arena in Dallas, TX on Friday, February 4th at 8:00PM, this intimate affair featuring the legendary performer already sounds promising.

It is has just been announced this month after weeks of tight-lipped reports that music royalty will also be joining Prince in an all-inclusive soiree that boasts the ultimate VIP experience. So who’s the big surprise? The one and only Queen of Neo-Soul Erykah Badu. You read that correctly the first time. Two major names, two distinct sounds, two incredible performers on one stage. Unbelievable!

Tickets and reservations are available through financial donations starting at $1,500. The contributions will include general admission, open bar, VIP treatment, lounge seating, freebies and food stations for the exclusive night of music, visual art, culture, cuisine and so much more. Didn’t think it’d get that pricey now did you? We didn’t either, but it makes sense when the stars are that big and the entire city of Dallas is taken over.

Proceeds from theEvent are set to benefit The Goss-Michael Foundation as their mission is to encourage the talents of young artists, both visual and performing through statewide high school scholarship programs. Prince himself hand selected the organization has a prime opportunity to give back and support the next generation of young artists.

If you can swing it, get your tickets by clicking on the link below. We know for many of us, it’s already out of our league, but wouldn’t it be amazing to see this one live, up close and personal?
