This past weekend presented a vast gathering of local community officials, organizations and honorees all representing a very precious moment in time for our city and our nation to celebrate the life, legacy and the ongoing impact of the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Cincinnati, among others, celebrated the 25th anniversary of Dr. King’s birthday becoming a federal holiday and the 40th anniversary of his famed “I Have a Dream” speech. With a variety of events around town to honor this great man, his ministry and the effects of the Civil Rights Movement, we wanted to take the time to share our city’s experiences in keeping the dream alive.

That is simply the fact that people are still fighting for freedom, equality, justice and unity and there are many who deserve to be honored for their successful strides in our community.

Take a look at the featured photo gallery capturing the entire experience we had together at the annual King Legacy Awards Breakfast in honor of not only Dr. King’s mission, but also the best and brightest of Cincinnati (listed below).
