It appears that very few of us care about the upcoming May 6  primary because early voting is down 82 percent. When you look at the numbers compared to four years ago, almost 40 thousand voted compared to just over 7,000 voters for the upcoming election.

With the primary just 14 days away, it looks like both parties and candidates have failed to rally their constituents to move toward early voting.

While the number is down,  the fact that absentee ballots were not mailed will proably have a huge impact on this year’s election.

You can still early vote M-F at the Hamilton County Board of Elections from 8a-5pm and on Saturday, May 3, 8a-12n.  For more information, contact the BOE at 632-7044.
