African-American Wins Boston Marathon- First American since 1983.

The Boston Marathon is over and without incident as the city celebrated this year’s run with over 36,000 people- more than 9,000 more than last year. The winners are both people of color including Heb Keflezighi, and Kenyan, Rita Jeptoo. Heb Keflezighi is the first American to win since 1983.
