Contemporary Christian music fans everywhere know the name of famed worship leader Martha Munizzi by heart, but this weekend our hearts are elated to announce that Ms. Martha is gearing up for her next live recording.
According to the reports on GospelFlava.com, the upcoming session is scheduled to take place centerstage at City of Life Church in Kissimee, FL on October 22, 2010. Seems like this is a great time of year to either record or release a new album for a lot of folks in gospel and contemporary Christian music.
Munizzi joins a roster of artists ranging from Tye Tribbett to Brian Courtney Wilson who will either present us with newly recorded music or will undergo a large scale concert for a live setting on a future album.
Special guests for exciting event currently include Michael Gungor, William McDowell, Jonathan Stockstill and Mary Alessi. Looking back on her steady music career, Munizzi won the 2005 Stellar Award for New Artist of the Year.
We also know she was in our area this summer rocking it out on the Joyfest 2010 tour when it visited Kings Island’s TImberwolf Amphitheatre in June.
