The president of the Ohio Board of Education is again under fire. This time she’s under scrutiny for ordering that a book be banned from school libraries.
Debe Terhar of Green Township says Toni Morrison’s “The Bluest Eye” is pornographic. The novel is set in the 1940’s, and its main character is an african-american girl.
Terhar was forced to issue a public apology in February, for comparing President Obama’s gun control plans with Adolf Hitler.
