Runners in next month’s Flying Pig Marathon will face a new security measure.
Organizers have announced plans to hand out clear, plastic, bags for runners belongings. They’re urging runners to use these instead of backpacks.
These measures are in response to last week’s bombing at the Boston Marathon.
