Butler County Prosecutor Michael Gmosher has dismissed the mock fraud charges against weather-predicting groundhog Punxsutawney Phil.
Phil’s handlers said he failed to properly translate a prediction for an early spring.
Gmosher said he wanted to have fun with the forecast that called for snow before easter.
