An African-American movie director is trying to spread awareness of black-on-black crime, by wearing a KKK robe in the middle of Philadelphia.

While wearing his robe, 35 year-old Sixx King stood out in the middle of downtown Philadelphia holding a sign that read,

“the KKK killed 3,446 blacks in 86 years, while black on black murders surpass that number every six months.”

In an interview with CBS 3, in Philadelphia, King said he’s trying to “bring awareness to the black hypocrisy, complacency and apathy in the African-American community”.

King is the director of the movie, “Mothers of No Tomorrow”. It is a documentary on the tragic but triumphant journey of three mothers who lost their children to senseless urban violence.
