Several events are scheduled across greater Cincinnati to recognize the life and work of Martin Luther King Jr.
The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center has one of the bigger events, with a day of special activities and live exhibits. The day starts off with The King Legacy Awards breakfast, beginning at 8 am at the Freedom Center. Following the breakfast is the commemorative civil rights march to Fountain Square for the interfaith prayer service at 11 am. The march will wrap up at noon at Music Hall, where the MLK commemorative celebration will begin. Stay tuned to 1230 the buzz for
With today being Martin Luther King Jr. Day, that means there are government and business offices closed today.
All government offices, court, and schools are closed today. There is also no mail service by the post office. Trash collection will also be delayed by one day in most communities.
