The governors of Ohio and Kentucky have made formal their plans for tolls to pay for construction of a new I-75 Brent Spence Bridge.
John Kasich and Steve Beshear said yesterday that tolls are the only way to fund the two billion dollar project. They’ve stated that federal funds aren’t available.
Northern Kentucky lawmakers and businesses are opposed to the plan. They believe rush hour traffic will be twice as worse as it is now.
