Just when you thought the fuss over her hair was over, another shoe had to drop.
As,Olympic gold medalist, Gabby Douglas was shaking off the critics of her hair style, she now has to face critics of her leotard choices. Radio talk show host, David Webb, wishes the Gold medal gymnast was more patriotic when she chose her leotard. In a Fox News interview, Webb explains
“If you want to be in the Olympics, you’re playing for your country…The Chinese are wearing red predominantly as that’s their national color, if you will, so why not us with the red, white and blue? There’s a meaning behind the red, white and blue that has been lost.”
Webb also went further to talk about the gray warm-up suits each U.S. athlete wears and how it lacks red, white, and blue colors.
