The mother of the unarmed black Florida teen, who was shot and killed by a neighborhood watch volunteer, says she is mentally prepared to handle whatever verdict or sentence is handed down by the jury.
Sybrina Fulton, the mother of Trayvon Martin, said this yesterday at the Children’s Defense Fund at the Convention Center, downtown. Along with Trayvon’s father, Tracy Martin, they spoke publicly at a town hall on violence and racial healing.
