An impromptu memorial, in honor of slain teenager Trayvon Martin, has been dismantled in Sanford Florida. However the items that made up the memorial are being preserved according to the city.
After consultation with Trayvon’s family, city staff members have removed items from the entrance of the subdivision, where Trayvon was shot in February.
The person accused of shooting him, George Zimmerman, is being charged of a second degree murder charge. He has also been given bail this past week. Zimmerman claims his shots were in self defense.
