James Fortune, the gospel singer, has released a statement on the child abuse accusations against him.
He says that he has recently become aware of the civil suit pending against him and his wife that occurred in 2001 and all matters were resolved in 2003.
The suit has been filed by the biological father of Fortune’s 4 year-old then-stepson. The reason for the civil suit is to compensate for the damages done in Fortune’s supposed disfigurement of the boy.
