You can definitely put this story under the “WTH” files. A Mt. Healthy High School graduate was denied his diploma after his supporters were supposedly cheering too loud for him.

Anthony Cornist, the second-leading tackler for the Mt. Healthy Owls football team, walked in his graduation. When he walked a lot of his family and friends were cheering loudly for him.

A couple days later, he received a letter from Mt. Healthy principal Marlon Styles, Jr. The letter read

“I will be holding your diploma in the main office, due to the excessive cheering your guests displayed during the roll call.”
