Two dozen Cincinnati city pools open today to help residents battle the heat.
The pools will open with full funding from the city. This is the first time in several years it has done so. In recent years, private funds helped keep a selected group of pools open.
The Cincinnati Recreation Commission will also open six spray-grounds around the city, giving kids ample choices on where to cool off and having something to do while school’s out.
