A judge denied Marissa Alexander a new trial this morning in a 2010 shooting that left no one dead or injured, The Florida Times-Union reports.
The Jacksonville native claims she was in fear of her life when she fired a warning shot in the direction of her husband, Rico Gray, during an argument.
Though Gray was neither shot nor injured during the incident, Alexander was charged and convicted on three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
