This isn’t a good morning for the students, faculty, and alumni of Florida A&M University.

Yesterday, prosecutors announced that they will be filing charges against thirteen FAMU students involved with the death of Robert Champion, and the hazing of two other students.

According to autopsy reports, there was no single blow, stomp, or strike that killed him. It was rather multiple blows by many individuals that caused Champion’s death. The inability to determine which blow caused his death was why the 13 students were charged.

Chris Chesnutt, the attorney for the family of Robert Champion, called in to the TJMS to talk about the case with Roland Martin. In case you missed the interview, you can listen below.
