This morning, Roland Martin reported, on the TJMS, that Florida A&M is creating an independent committee to study hazing. The university will also create a memorial dedicated to fallen FAMU band-member, Robert Champion. Is that enough to pay respect him? One idea brought up, that raised eyebrows, was to suspend the band for the rest of the school year. Martin invited former FAMU alumni president and marching band-member Bernard Kinsey to talk about what’s the next step for the university.
