Hamilton County Prosecutor, Joe Deters, announced today that no charges will be filed against any Jobs and Family Services worker in the beating death of Demarcus Jackson.
This morning, Deters explained that the workers followed the law in its handling of the foster child. Not only that, Deters believed no JFS worker could’ve predicted the violent actions of Demarcus’s dad, Antrone Smith.
Demarcus was beaten to death in October by his dad, just months after he was returned home after foster care.
