Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Jerome Simpson is facing some heat this week as authorities confirm their discovery of six additional pounds of marijuana inside Simpson’s Kentucky home.

The investigation on the oddball delivery began when suspicious packages containing a substantial amount of marijuana were found in Sacramento according to a report from the California Department of Justice. Simpson offered consent to the search on his residential property which later unveiled a variety of questionable packaging material including scales and empty parcels indicating that the first case was related.
