Huge names entertainment like the legendary group The Impressions, Patti Labelle, Eddie Levert, Anthony Hamilton, India Arie, Ray Chew and his band Ray Chew LIVE and Naturally 7 made it out Thursday evening to pay tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. for the “Message in The Music” concert in honor of his previously scheduled and now unfortunately cancelled memorial dedication event.
The artists performed legendary sounds of the Civil Rights Movement inspiring hope, strength and change. It was a feel-good show that had the audience dancing in the aisles. Also in attendance were stars Cuba Gooding Jr., Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Dominique Dawes, Rev. Jesse Jackson and the list goes on and on.
