National award-winning and multifaceted journalist Roland S. Martin paid a visit to the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area for a special trip to the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center (NURFC) for a recent lecture series to discuss the historical context of civil rights. The noted activist, commentator and on-air personality for TV One and The Tom Joyner Morning Show spoke also of how the vestiges of civil rights struggles manifest today and what we can all do to take steps toward freedom in our own lives.

Today, that conversation continued with a surprise call from Columbus, Ohio and Cincinnati’s own Lincoln Ware live on the air as the two discussed Roland’s involvement with the Ohio Legislative Black Caucus, his upcoming projects plus so much more.
